Before I jump into the next section here, I want to point out another thing with you. Some gentlemen believe girls who are interested will often mirror your body image.

Don’t press them to talk about it or harp on the fact that you „wish everything could go back to the way it was.“ If you two are true friends, things will sort themselves out in time, so resist the urge to hurry things along.

Again, this can go back to the attention bit I mentioned above. She could be all the way across the room but notice you talking to others. In return, she’ll scoot on over and try to squeeze her way into the conversation. Think of this as her way of trying to determine your sense of humor and ability to stand up for yourself.

Rather than initiating unwanted sexual interest, this fella fails to make a move when a lady wants him to! Many a man out there has had the experience of a woman telling him, “I gave you so many signals! How did you not know I liked you?! ” Sometimes a guy gets lucky and finally clues into this interest because the gal is patient and persistent. You’re having a conversation at work or at a social event when she suddenly touches your arm or shoulder. If the girl is aggressive, she might even put a hand on your knee or lean very close. What does this mean? Girls won’t just touch any guy unless she likes him. If you notice that your female friend does this to you, then take it as a sign that she’s interested in you more than just a friend.

Of course she might actually hate you but realistically unless you’re genuinely an unlikeable asshole that’s probably not the case. Also girls tend to like and trust guys that their friends vouch for so if you have mutual friends there’s no real reason for her to actively dislike you. There just might be a bit of a wait if I get flooded with questions when I’m busy doing other things. Long before you move on to kissing and other physical interactions, there will always be at least some intimacy even at the early stages of the relationship. A girl who likes you will not be able to resist touching you, and that’s exactly how you can tell she’s interested. A conversation between a man and a woman is a two-way street, and if all she wants to talk about is herself, it likely means that she is not only not interested in you, but is self-obsessed and possibly a narcissist.

You don’t have to be necessarily talking to each other. But if she seeks you out and constantly sits beside you, you might have an admirer there.

She knows that you’ll probably become closer to each other if you have similar interests. This can be an awkward situation, but it is an obvious sign that a girl likes you. Does she laugh at your silly jokes?

Let’s face it—getting „friend-zoned“ is hard! And while rejecting your friend’s romantic advance saves you from the possibility of breaking up later, it still has the potential to damage, or even end, your friendship. Sadly, the classic line—“I don’t want to ruin our friendship”—can ring hollow to someone who truly likes (or maybe even loves) you.
