Don’t invent these people, but consider being honest about your dating life early on, and you’ll discover a great deal about how she feels about you. More than who makes the plans, it’s how she responds to plans that reflects whether she likes you. If she’s vague or evasive about hanging out, she probably doesn’t want to see you that badly.

Perhaps the biggest giveaway of them all is when she mentions your girlfriend in a conversation, and you have never brought her up before. Or when she mentions she doesn’t have a boyfriend, when you already know from the grape vine she does.

2. She “mirrors” you

Say that you’re all standing in a circle, and when someone else is talking, you two get eye contact. Does she give you a slight smile?

And if you’re rolling your eyes about the science of why it happens, it’s all due to the release of dopamine. For all our ~feminine mystery~, girls are actually pretty upfront about our feelings.

This one is tried and true but it’s still worth mentioning. If a girl goes out of her way to let you know that she thinks you’re funny then that’s a massive indicator of her interest. Girls like to laugh and guys that can make them do that are like gold dust to them. So this means that if she’s constantly laughing at your jokes, or even at times when you’re not trying to be funny then she either genuinely finds you hilarious (which means she probably likes you) or she wants you to think that she thinks you’re hilarious (which means she probably likes you). Either way it’s an excellent sign that you need to have a proper word with her ASAP.

• But take it slow since it’s a coworker and make sure you don’t have a falling out if it doesn’t work out.
• Let’s face it, woman can be mysterious, and for lot of men, it confuses the hell out of them.
• But if you’re sitting at a table, and a woman says something along the lines, “Oh, Brett, you’re such a sweetheart” and briefly squeezes your arm, that’s a pretty clear giveaway that she’s interested.

Ways of teasing include calling you out on a joke that actually wasn’t that funny, poking fun at something you’re wearing, or lightly telling you that you’re trying too hard. Notice if she smiles around you. This may be her way of signaling to you that she’s comfortable and happy in your presence.

Don’t assume she’s playing hard to get. She’s just not into you. And don’t think you can sway her by talking yourself up or negging her or doing whatever other dumb PUA technique you read about from some blog post written in 2009. It won’t work, and you’ll just come off as a desperate, creepy dude. Just as observing an anomaly in a tactical situation doesn’t automatically mean there’s a threat, an anomaly in the world of romantic social cues doesn’t automatically mean a woman wants to sleep with you, marry you, or even go on a date with you.

When a guy is talking to a girl that he likes, he would probably start sweating or struggling with words. It is different with girls. When a girl is talking to a guy that she likes, her voice becomes a little different. You will notice that her pitch will be a little higher.

You should consider these questions because if you like your friend as more than a friend, you will probably interpret their actions differently and see „signs“ that aren’t really there. So before you worry about how to tell if your friend likes you, consider any possible biases that you might have. If you don’t think you’re simply seeing what you want to see, your friend may indeed be interested in being more than just your buddy. Signs a guy likes you can also be different from signs a girl likes you. Still, some things stay consistent no matter what.

You are better off finding someone who is single and actually wants to date you and spend time with you. I think she likes you. I’m not sure if she has a boyfriend or not but if she’s telling you she’s lonely, then it seems like she doesn’t have a serious relationship with anyone.
